The Thermoelectricity Undertaking Line, with the full name of Henan Xiangcheng Cogeneration Plant, was built in 1956, is the earliest local state-owned enterprise of Xiangcheng City, in 1988 was merged into Henan Lianhua Monosodium Glutamate Co., Ltd, in 1987 completed the heating system transformation, took the lead in realizing cogeneration, from 1988 to 1998 fulfilled the sixth expansion project with the investment of more than Rmb500 million, increased the installed capacity from the former 0.6 kilowatts to ninety thousand kilowatts, now it has 9 thermal power generators, 11 boilers, has the annual generating capacity of 650 million kilowatt hours, heating capacity of 2.5 million tons, in 1997 reached provincial environment protection standards, in 1999 all generators were approved to be included in the electricity network entry program by Henan Province, is the best returns power plant of the whole province, and is also one of the 100 strongest enterprises who account for the most tax of the whole province.
Henan Xiangcheng Cogeneration Plant is identified by province and state, is successively accepted for member and governing unit of the Thermoelectric Special Committee of the Chinese Society of Electric Engineering and the Chinese Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization, and is also in 1999 validated as the second class large scale enterprise of China by Henan Provincial Government, gains AAA credit rating.
Now it has 1380 existing workers, which are of high-quality, in total 566 personnel have university and polytechnic school education background, of which three have master’s degree, five are senior engineers, two are senior technicians, one is provincial expert. In recent years, in total 15 awards have been presented to them for provincial-level achievements and scientific and technological progress, 3 awards as provincial-level QC team, 3 awards for provincial-level and national-level enterprise modern management innovation achievements, is a national CFB boiler technology base, which is established by the Thermal Physics Research Institute of China Academy of Science.
This company has first-class facilities and equipments, the latest approved fixed assets is Rmb560 million Yuan (of which, net assets Rmb183.61 million Yuan), nine thermoelectric generators are all of new type, high efficiency and energy saving, which are made by Hangzhou Steam Turbine Factory who introduces Siemens technology, seven circulating fluidized bed boilers, 75 tons each, are all of new type, high efficiency, environmental protection and energy saving, all the sewage treatment equipments are reverse osmosis high-new technological ones, which are newly installed and put into operation. The technology management has been ranking the first of the same industry, has completed more than 100 major technological transformation projects and innovations of all professions, has successfully developed and mastered the reverse osmosis membrane cleaning technology, and has applied the computer system, technology into equipment operation, production and materials supply management, thus guarantees the reliability of equipment management and the control of plant operation parameters adjustment, various economic and technical indicators are at the advanced level of the same trade, has achieved safety without any accidents for 19 years, has maintained the title of advanced enterprise in the country’s electricity industry for 9 consecutive years for its safe and civilized production reaches national standards.
